The Association for Computing Machinery itself is the world’s largest educational and scientific computing society. At De Anza, we strive to recreate this society on a local basis by promoting social interaction between computer scientists, students with a slight interest in computer science, and those who want to see what computer science is all about. De Anza’s Chapter works to promote, preserve, and foster one’s interest in computer science.
Contact us!In the club, we focus not only on learning about the world of computer science, but also on socializing and making connections with other computer scientists. The activities we do have no limit. We interact on weekends, go to museums, go to hackathons, learn new languages, write applications, solve programming brain teasers, occasionally have special speakers, and, most of all- we have fun.
In 2014-2015, we met every Friday from 12PM to 1PM in Student Council Chambers B. The room is located underneath the cafeteria, next to the Office of College Life. This may change in 2015-2016.
Email us and we will still send you weekly updates as well as notifications of upcoming events!
